Wednesday SooriPosted by Hamed (Tehran, Iran) on 8 April 2007 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio. A little bit about the title: There's a tradition in our country, in which people light-up fires everywhere outside houses, jump from above the fire and celebrate new year in the night before the last wednesday of year. (Persian year). We call it "CHAARSHANBE SOORI", and "CHAARSHANBE" means wednesday. Nowadays, modern fires are added to the parties, such as fireworks. The picture is a slightly long exposure of one of such things.
